  • Terms and Conditions of Hire

    Delivery & Collection of Equipment
    The hirer gives permission to the owner to bring their vehicle onto the property for the purpose of delivering or collecting hired goods. The owner will not be responsible for any damage to driveway or underground services due to the weight of the vehicle.

    Hire Period
    The hire commences from the period the equipment leaves the owners depot and is terminated at the time of notification by the hirer or on return to the depot. The hirer is responsible for the security of the equipment until it is either returned or collected.

    Insurance
    No insurance is offered on the goods hired and the hirer is responsible for any damages or losses including third party damages.

    Damages or Loss
    In the event of goods being damaged or lost the hirer will be charged for any repairs required or replacement.

    Care of Equipment

    • The hirer is responsible for the basic maintenance and security of equipment while on hire.
    • The hirer is responsible to satisfy themselves that the equipment is suitable for the intended use and that equipment is used in a way that satisfies any statutory requirement.
    • The owner is not liable for any loss suffered by the hirer or liability incurred as a result of a breakdown of the equipment however caused.
    • In the event of a breakdown the hirer must notify the owner immediately by telephone.
    • Equipment must be returned in a clean condition. Glasses, crockery and cutlery must me rinsed. A cleaning charge will be applied to any equipment returned dirty.

    Signing Authority
    The person signing this agreement, if not personally the hirer warrants that they have the authority to make this contract on the hirers behalf.

    Location of Equipment
    The hirer must on request, advise the owner of the whereabouts of the equipment and allow access to the equipment to inspect or test the equipment or to remove the equipment if required.
